Developing a healthy and active lifestyle allows for clarity, growth, and reinvigoration.  By activating the Main + Exchange neighborhood, this project transforms existing parking lots into a destination for the both the city and beyond.  From the activity of the city to the opportunities to actively engage in the local parks, trails, and towpath, this location offers the amenities that few in the area can.  In doing so the project looks to establish a community based around and supported by the activity generated.  This community includes the public whose energy fills the pedestrian only street, engages the retail, and works within the maker space, as well as a community of residents who share the amenities, the views, and the active and healthy lifestyle.  Even the modular process of construction is an active process that fully embraces everything the project stands for.  Active.  Healthy.
