After School Architecture

aodk has begun a 10 week after school program to teach students about architecture. Some of the topics include: theoretical design, basic design principles, from vs. function, and social / environmental issues involving architecture. Throughout the 10 weeks the students were given the task to design a home for themselves.  Using hand drawn floor plans, physical models, and SketchUp each student came up with their ideal home.

As aodk continues to move forward in the discussion of architectural advancement we are pleased to be able to involve young hearts and minds.
